Mandarin

Chinese is the most widely spoken language in the world with more than one billion
native speakers. Mandarin (standard Chinese) is the official language of China and it
is one of the six official languages used by the UN. Mandarin has four different tones
including, flat, rising, falling then rising and falling; its grammar is relatively
uncomplicated as there is no verb conjugation. As the world becomes increasingly
globalised, Mandarin has become a popular language to learn.
Our teachers are highly qualified and experienced native speakers. They use their
extensive knowledge of the language, literature and culture to inspire and encourage
students to progress in their learning and develop a high level of competence in the
language.
